Constant struggles for human life, dignity, and love. Brave women from different eras fight sexism and racism to turn their dreams of love and family into reality. A contemporary story about three sheltered sisters who leave home and struggle to handle the hostilities of the real world. A saga about a female runaway slave protecting her children is woven throughout the book, showing the similarities of the two eras. The biological inter-relationships of the characters from both eras are revealed by the end of the book. The Oprah Show asked me to talk about BETRAYALS on her show.
